One goal out of my 25 has been completed "to make successful macaroons". This was my 3rd time making them and i think the term 3rd time lucky applies!
My first batch were no where near macaroons more bubbled sugar, leaving a macaroon mix overnight in the fridge is NEVER a good idea! The second batch where good but not like macaroons the almonds where not fine enough. So for this batch I processed the almonds further then sieved them before i put them in the bowl also I whisked the egg whites to stiff peaks not soft peaks.
I filled them with Nutella and they are SO GOOD! I had trouble getting them of the baking parchment so i might use bake-o-glide next time but other than that they are the most macaroony macaroons i have ever made
